Meet Heide Maki
Registered Nurse & Owner of Sunkissed Med Spa
Heide Maki has an extensive background in healthcare and began her training as a Registered Nurse over 20 years ago. Heide has first hand experience with skin issues, she was diagnosed with Rosacea 10 years ago and after years of taking multiple medications without relief she decided to seek a different path with a holistic mindset. It was through her research and working with holistic skin therapists her passion grew and she decided to open Sunkissed Med Spa. Heide Believes in taking a holistic approach to skin health, understanding the value in good nutrition, exercise and a home skin care regimen will all impact and improve our skin health.
Meet Andrea M. Bernhard, MD
Medical Director | Aesthetic Medicine & Body Contouring
Dr. Andrea Bernhard is a board-certified physician and the Medical Director for Sunkissed Med Spa, where she combines medical expertise with an artistic eye to help clients achieve their ideal aesthetic goals. With a passion for non-invasive and minimally invasive body contouring, Dr. Bernhard specializes in advanced treatments designed to sculpt, tone, and enhance natural beauty safely and effectively.
After earning her medical degree from the University of Texas medical branch at Galveston and completing her clinical training in Family Medicine at the University of Hawai’i Dr. Bernhard pursued additional certification and hands-on training in aesthetic medicine. She is committed to providing personalized care, using the latest technologies in body contouring to deliver noticeable, confidence-boosting results.
At the heart of her practice is a belief in empowering clients to feel their best through tailored treatment plans, honest consultation, and meticulous attention to detail.

Spa Manager, Texas
Ashley has a strong background in management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, Ashley brings a fresh perspective to our spa team. Though new to the spa industry, Ashley has years of experience leading teams, streamlining operations, and ensuring clients always feel welcome and cared for. Eager to learn and grow Ashley is excited to combine proven organizational skills with a genuine enthusiasm for wellness, making every guest’s visit smooth, relaxing and memorable.
